Pastor Phoebe Solero Vansylalom is the daughter of Pastors Luis and Ruth Solero. She was born in the Philippines and served at Hope of the City Church since she was petitioned by her parents to the United States in 2010. Eventually, she met her husband Brandon, and were married in February 2022.
In 2021, the Lord has opened the door for Hope of the City to plant a church in Alaska. Pastor Phoebe, and her husband Brandon, took the call of God to move to Anchorage, Alaska two weeks after their wedding. They are parents to one dog, Nuna, and firstborn son, Judah.
Pastor Phoebe and Brandon served both in worship, small groups, and media.

Hope of the City Alaska Family, we are now heading into a new chapter!
In 2023, the Lord gave us a long-term space to rent, but we outgrew the space and had to move. Currently, we are renting from the Anchorage School District at Airport Heights Elementary. Although the school is working well for our church, we believe that the vision of Hope of the City is to expand our territory and to build a church with more room for growth. One of the declarations we say at our church is the prayer of Jabez, "Bless us indeed, enlarge our territory, may Your hands be upon us, and protect us from all evil." We believe that God has bigger plans for our church and we know that He will enlarge our territory as long as we have faith.
After a long wait and all the transitions we experienced while moving, the Lord is opening a new door for us to have a new space we will call home. Therefore, we are raising $30,000 for Believe Offering 2026 to support this vision, and the mission of Hope of the City to, "Bring hope to every life."
