Campus Pastors
Jeff & Mizely Laigo
Our Hawaii campus pastors, Jeff and Mizely Laigo, have been married for 11 years. They are proud parents of four children, Jairuz, Izaac, Zara and Zia.
Jeff is a Seattle native and has served at Hope of the City Church for 17 years as a pastor in various ministries, including youth & young adults, worship, small groups, communications / connections, and campus pastor. Mizely was born and raised on Oahu. She moved to Washington after they wed in 2011 and served alongside her husband.
In 2012, God began to stir a passion in their hearts to start a church in Kapolei, Hawaii. Ten years later, during prayer and fasting, God made it clear that it was time to pursue that calling. They obediently moved their family from Washington to Hawaii in June 2022 and are excited to see God’s plan and purpose to come to fruition through this church plant.

Our Hawaii campus launched in April 2023 and currently meets at Kapolei Middle School.

We are excited to share with you the vision that God has placed on our hearts for the future of Hope of the City Church Kapolei.
God has blessed us immensely over the past two years since we planted our church, and through His grace, we have witnessed many lives changed and souls saved.
As our church continues to grow, we believe God is calling us to step out in faith by acquiring a facility to better serve and reach more people with the gospel.
For this year’s Believe Offering, we are launching a Building Fund Campaign to raise the necessary resources for our new church facility.
We invite you to prayerfully consider partnering with us through financial contributions to this campaign. Our goal is to raise $75,000, and we ask you to give what God places on your heart.
Whether through a one-time donation or monthly pledge, every gift, large or small, will make a difference.
